The Farmington Musicale is a Senior Club of the National Federation of Music Clubs. Currently in its 50th season, The Farmington Musicale is a non-profit organization offering a wide variety of programs open to the general public in addition to hosting financial award opportunities for young aspiring musicians in the Farmington / Farmington Hills community.

The National Federation of Music Clubs is a tax-exempt, non-profit, philanthropic and educational organization dedicated to music education and promotion of the creative and performing arts in America since 1898. The Federation was designated on the Official Roster of the United Nations in 1949, the only music organization thus accredited as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and was chartered by the U.S. Congress on August 9, 1982.
In memory of our friends
Frank Tomchak passed away March 1st, 2017. He and his wife Prudie were very active in Musicale for years behind the scenes. Frank was the first Band President for the Harrison HS Music Department and helped them get the first uniforms for the Marching Band.
Maxine Zeitz passed away July 5th. She was a pianist and member of Tuesday Musicale of Detroit, the Dearborn Symphony, Friends of four Hands, the Pro Musica of Detroit, the Dearborn Library and active on the Dearborn Arts Council as well as a member of SIA. There is a Memorial Tribute Concert in her honor Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Steinway Piano Gallery 2700 E. West Maple Rd (at I-5) just west of Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Twp.
The Farmington Musicale has made a donation in both of our friends' honor to the Scholarship Fund for Awards in Musical Excellence.
